Together, We Make History

Incidents of bigotry and hatred across the globe show us how fragile democracy can be. Through historical analysis and the study of human behavior, Facing History heightens students’ understanding of racism, intolerance and prejudice, helping them relate history to their own lives, and promoting a greater understanding of their roles and responsibilities in a democracy.

These online videos (featuring pro bono appearances by Sir Ben Kingsley and Josh Gad) helped launch a new tagline, better explain the organization’s mission to general audiences and raise awareness of their work among potential donors.

The History Of…

After launching our first set of videos, RP3’s creative team was asked to promote Facing History’s annual student essay contest to help drive voting and web traffic. When the agency heard the impassioned experiences of ethical decision making described in these student essays, we knew they were too powerful to keep to ourselves. So we developed “The History Of” video series that elevates the voices of these individual students by truly bringing their essays to life.
